A doula is a trained, non-medical professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

A doula does not replace a doctor, nurse, or midwife and does not perform medical procedures. A doula provides non-medical support so families feel cared for, empowered, and informed. Doulas do not provide medical advice.

Whether you’re preparing for your first baby or expanding your family, Del Corazón Doula Care is here to help you feel confident, supported, and cared for—from the heart.

my Story

Importance of a Doula

After over 20 years of working in the community with children, in 2025 I shifted focus to a community I saw needed support in the Merrimack Valley: expecting mothers. At Del Corazón Doula Care, I provide compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based doula support for growing families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. Rooted in the meaning of the name—“from the heart”—we are committed to empowering parents with education, emotional support, advocacy, and personalized care every step of the way.

My mission is to create a calm, informed, and nurturing birth experience while honoring each family’s unique values, traditions, and choices. I proudly serve diverse communities, with a special commitment to supporting families of color through bilingual, heart-centered care.
